Capacity Building

Everything comes to us that belongs to us if we create the capacity to receive it. Basing on this wise thought our primary focus is on enabling an environment for both women and organisations to acquire a state of mind, hope and belief that dissolves differences through capacity building. Our capacity building programs are designed to not only empower women with the necessary training, knowledge and skills but will also ensure that continued support and teaching is rendered for every participant so as to demonstrate know-how and confidence to take on leadership roles in their personal and professional lives. Our programs encompass and integrate a wide range of topics including,

  6. Health and wellness

Community Building

In addition to the capacity building programs, we endeavour to build an enduring community of women where in every participant will find a group of women who will challenge them, inspire them and spend a lot of time with them bringing everyone together for progress and working together for success. We believe that women are stronger together, and by fostering a sense of community, we can create a platform where women can share their experiences, seek advice, and find inspiration. Our seamless engagement of People, Platform and Process are executed through:

  1. A series of Networking Events
  2. Online discussions and Webinars
  3. Creating Online Groups for Women to connect and share resources.
  4. Broadcasting success stories of women who overcame challenges and achieved goals.

Change Makers Hubs:

Women’s rights are human rights too. At GWF, we believe in advocating and reinforcing women's rights and bring to cognisance the issues affecting women. We aim to create a safe and inclusive environment where women can express their views and opinions without fear of judgment or discrimination. These issues at the local level will be addressed through the ChangeMakers Hubs.

Mentorship:

There’s always a situation if not frequent, at least once where you cannot see where you are going and you need to ask someone who has been there before. At GWF, you will find a brain to prick, an ear to listen and push you in the right direction. The Mentoring Program will benefit the participants in identifying and achieving career development and personal growth goals. Our bench of mentors with their adequate knowledge, skills and abilities form the core support system in providing guidance and direction to foster higher levels of engagement and career vision. It aims to create a culture that sees mentoring as an effective way to support young women to achieve their full potential and aspirations.

GWF is dedicated to empowering women by creating a platform that is seamless, viable and plausible by bringing together women who demonstrate, inspire, motivate and bring about an equitable world of women.
