A Graduate in History and Economics from Madras University, Ms. Aruna Bahuguna, IPS belongs to 1979 RR batch and was allotted to Andhra Pradesh cadre as First Lady IPS Officer of the state.
She held the following posts -Superintendent of Police, Vishakapatnam Rural; Vizianagaram; Women Protection Cell, CID; Vijayawada and Intelligence. Assistant Director, Intelligence Bureau, New Delhi Central Intelligence Officer at Hyderabad from 1988 to 1993; Jt. CP, Hyderabad; DIGP, Intelligence; IGP Police Computer Services & Human Rights Cell; Controller of Legal Metrology; IGP Coordination; ADGP Coordination; DG, Special Protection Force; DG, State Disaster Response & Fire Services; ADGP Training; ADGP & Commissioner, Printing and Stationery; ADGP APSP Battalions; DGP & Chairman, A.P. State Police Housing Corporation, Hyderabad.
She served the Central Reserve Police Force as Special Director General before joining the SVP NPA as First Lady Director in 2014. She was decorated with the Indian Police Medal for Meritorious Service in 1995 and the President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Services in 2005. Her hobbies include Western Classical Music, playing Piano and Guitar, Poetry and Philanthropic activities. She is a keen golfer and takes part in almost all outdoor activities in the Academy.
Kiran Soni Gupta

Kiran Soni Gupta is an artist, prolific writer, keen photographer and an activist administrator. She is an officer from the 1985 batch of the Indian Administrative Service till recently posted as Textile Commissioner Mumbai. Presently she is Additional Secretary and Financial Adviser in the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology and Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports.
She has worked in different assignments in Government of India, Government of Kerala and Rajasthan. She has been District Collector of two districts and Divisional Commissioner of Jaipur and Jodhpur. The National Productivity Council NPC and NABARD have recognized her with National awards for her administrative and developmental initiatives.

She is one of the first five women police officers in India and the first from the state of Bihar. She was selected for the Indian Police Service (IPS) in 1976 and has held positions in the State Governments of Bihar and Jharkhand, the National Police Academy (NPA), the CISF and the Central Reserve Protection Force (CRPF).
She has led teams in a wide range of complex and challenging assignments that have prepared her for a career in the private and social sector. From fighting crime to administering a massive organisation, Ms. Jaruhar has shown exemplary leadership in a domain traditionally dominated by men.

She is also the Chief Coordinator with the Indian Music Industry (IMI) and is a Senior Advisor to 9.9 Media. In addition to this, she recently joined FICCI as its Chairperson of the Committee on Private Security Industry.
She is the recipient of the Government of India’s Police Medal for Meritorious Service and the President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service. She was awarded the Director General’s Commendation Disc for outstanding service twice in the CISF and once when she was with the CRPF.

She has worked with MSMEs in Hyderabad by educating and providing them with a digital mobile platform to enable their sales and digital marketing in collaboration with the Ministry of Information Technology, Govt. Of Telangana.
She did her schooling at Vana Vani Mat.Hr.Sec school, IIT Madras, where she was the sports captain. She pursued her graduation in History & International Relations at Stella Maris College, Chennai.
